This product is durable and it can be regularly washed without affecting quality. However, following the care instructions will help your blanket feel brand new and silky-soft for as long as possible.
Fabric texture - Our plush minky blankets are soft and lofty, but they are pressed with heat during printing and this temporarily makes them feel more flat. The texture will soften and the blanket will feel more plush after washing. Plush minky is a microfleece fabric with a "pile" or fur-like texture on one side and a brushed fleece on the other.
To keep the fibers soft and silky over time, it is very important to avoid fabric softeners when washing this blanket. Many laundry pods contain softeners, and we recommend not using laundry pods for this item.
- Wash with detergent only, no fabric softeners
- Wash in cold water
- Gentle cycle
- Wash separately to avoid lint transfer from other textiles
- Tumble dry low and remove promptly
